From Vienna to Broadway

This concert presented musical theater from operett to Sondheim. It traces the development of modern musical theatre from Gilbert and Sullivan through Viennese waltzes from Johann Strauss' stage works, through the heyday of Broadway.

The concert was directed by Dr. Richard L. Byrd, with assistant conductor Mike Mattner.
