5th Annual Bayou City Community Band Festival

The Woodlands Community Band sponsored the 5th Annual Bayou City Community Band Festival. The festival was held at John Wesley United Methodist Church. Frank B. Wickes, Director Emeritus at Louisiana State University, led the clinic and concert.

The festival band played a diverse program, including Holst's Second Suite in F and Richard Strauss' Konigsmarsch for Symphonic Band. Proceeds from the event were donated to the WCB's scholarship fund.
