Hurricane Harvey

Flooding from Hurricane Harvey at the end of August destroyed most of the band's music library. The facility where the library was housed, itself nowhere near the flood plain, could not handle the more than 35 inches of rain that fell on the community. Four feet of water flooded the storage room. 283 pieces, or 63% of the library was destroyed at a replacement cost of $22,994. Unfortunately, some of the music is out of print and irreplaceable.

The band solicited donations and set up a GoFundMe account. Director Paul Worosello also worked tirelessly with music publishers to arrange for favorable replacement prices.
