A New Day

This concert was designed to highlight works that emphasized beginnings, including Sunrise Fanfare (also known as Thus Spake Zarathustra, well known from the movie 2001), Make Our Garden Grow, and A Childhood Remembered. The concert also included two extremely moving pieces, Of Our New Day Begun (written to commemorate the lives lost in the 2015 terrorist act at Mother Emanuel church in Charleston), and Love and Light (inspired by a miscarriage).  The concert was performed at Christ Church United Methodist.

Paul Worosello conducted the concert, with Associate Conductor Emilio Reyna.

The program included fund raising information to procure chimes and crotales for the percussion section.

The band was presented with the prestigious Sudler Silver Scroll Award at the concert.
