Associate Conductor 2017-2019

Bill Stutsman is a retired music educator in the Houston area. He received his Bachelors in Music Education from Indiana University and his Masters in Music Education from Ball State University. While at Ball State, Bill was an assistant band director for university bands. He was a high school band director for fiften years. He has been active in Houston area community organizatins including the Cypress Symphonic Band, The Woodlands Concert Band, the Houston Symphonic Band, and the Lone Star Symphonic Band. He is also the Associate Director for the Cypress Symphonic Band. Mr. Stutsman is a member of the National Band Association and the Association of Community Bands. Bill's clarinet instructors have been Howard Hanson, Henry Gulick, robert Marcellus, Rolf Legbandt, Jeff Lerner, and Richard Nunemaker.
