Tony Yarbrough

Associate Director 2011 - 2013

Tony Yarbrough is currently in his 19th year as a public school band director at Hildebrandt Intermediate School in Klein ISD. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Texas Christian University. during Mr. Yarbrough's tenure at Hildebrandt, the Honor Band was selected as the first runner-up in the 2009 TMEA Honor Band competition, and teh bands have earned multiple UIL Sweepstakes Awards. Tony Yarbrough is a member of the Texas Music Education Association, the Texas Bandmasters association, and Phi Beta Mu (professional band director fraternity). He is an active professional trumpet player performing throughout the Houston area. He is also an original member of the Houston Texans Bull Pen Pep Band. He and his wife Ashley, an elementary music teacher at Ehrhardt Elementary School in Klein ISD, have three children - Sarah, Hannah, and Rebecca.
